Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices to promote optimal results. Monitor vital signs and medical history documentation to support safe treatment planning in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain infection prevention standards through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and assisting the dental receptionist with patient management software. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient record keeping and appointment management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures related to orthodontics and general dentistry. Experience with dental X-ray techniques, including dental radiography and medical imaging safety standards.
