Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. As an RDA, you will assist dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols. Take dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while maintaining proper aseptic techniques. Manage patient records accurately using Open Dental. Perform vital signs assessment. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment instructions, and dental terminology to promote ongoing oral health management. Support administrative tasks including patient management software updates, appointment scheduling, and coordinating with dental reception staff for seamless patient flow. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures. Hands-on experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools used in modern dental practices. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology related to dentistry, and medical coding for documentation purposes. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Open Dental is preferred; familiarity with patient management software is essential. Ability to adhere strictly to clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive patient information.
