Ideally 4 days per week; flexible for 2-3 days per week About the Position We are a dental practice seeking a temporary Dental Assistant to provide vacation coverage. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and positive, with excellent patient-care and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment and can confidently assist with both clinical and front-office responsibilities.   • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside assisting and patient care
  • Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories
  • Taking dental X-rays
  • Fabricating temporary crowns
  • Taking alginate impressions and pouring models
  • Treatment planning, charting, and documenting clinical notes using Dentrix
  • Scanning with iTero
  • Communicating effectively with patients and team members
  • Stocking operatories and lab supplies
  • Greeting patients and assisting with check-in
  • Answering phones, scheduling, and confirming appointments
  • Assisting with front- and back-office duties as needed Qualifications
  • Current California Dental Assistant (DA) certification or RDA license required
  • Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety compliance
  • Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and general practice management software
  • Strong communication and telephone skills License/Certification
