Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) / Dental Assistant (DA) Smile Santa Maria Dental - Santa Maria, CA Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Monthly Production & Performance Bonus Join a Growing, Modern Dental Practice Smile Santa Maria Dental is looking for an experienced, motivated RDA or Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a busy, modern general dental practice providing a wide range of comprehensive dentistry, including restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, and cosmetic procedures. We are looking for someone who is skilled, efficient, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys dentistry and patient care . We value excellent team members and believe strong performance should be rewarded. We offer competitive compensation along with a monthly production and performance bonus program , creating excellent earning potential as the practice continues to grow. Compensation & Benefits $23-$33 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and clinical skills Monthly Production & Performance Bonus — Up to $800/month Excellent earning potential for experienced, high-performing team members Paid time off Paid holidays Full-time, stable position Opportunity for long-term growth within the practice What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is an experienced RDA/DA who can work efficiently in a busy clinical environment while maintaining excellent patient care.
Preferred skills include:
Experience as an RDA or Dental Assistant in a general dental practice Ability to take FMX, digital X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and CBCT scans efficiently and accurately Experience with intraoral digital scanning Strong chairside assisting skills Comfortable assisting with a variety of procedures, including: Restorative dentistry Crown and bridge procedures Endodontics Extractions and oral surgery Implant procedures Familiarity with Open Dental Ability to enter treatment plans accurately Good understanding of dental terminology and procedures Strong infection-control and sterilization knowledge Ability to prepare operatories efficiently and anticipate the doctor's needs Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional and friendly communication with patients Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Spanish-speaking is strongly preferred and is a significant plus for this position.
