Our team is committed to clinical excellence and utilizing modern dental techniques to improve the oral health of our community. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is essential to our daily operations, requiring a blend of clinical skill and a gentle chairside manner. You will work closely with Dr. Konopka to ensure our patients receive efficient, high-quality care during their visits. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and holds the necessary California certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
  • Manage patient flow
  • Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software
  • Ability to take digital dental x-rays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of dental coding systems
