About Us The dental office of Agata Konopka, DDS is a boutique-style practice in Soquel, CA, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, professional environment where our patients are treated like family. Our team is committed to clinical excellence and utilizing modern dental techniques to improve the oral health of our community. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is essential to our daily operations, requiring a blend of clinical skill and a gentle chairside manner. You will work closely with Dr. Konopka to ensure our patients receive efficient, high-quality care during their visits. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and holds the necessary California certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Manage patient flow
- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Ability to take digital dental x-rays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of dental coding systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
