Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented, and highly motivated Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in providing oral health care to our young patients. This role requires a professional dedicated to delivering exceptional dental services to children of all ages while ensuring a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant environment.

Core Responsibilities Clinical Support:

Assist the dentist during examinations and pediatric treatments. Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and manage equipment under strict compliance with OSHA and health regulations.

Patient Management:

Establish professional rapport with young patients and parents to ensure a managed, positive clinical experience. Educate families on oral hygiene.

Diagnostics & Administration:

Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient records.

Advanced Duties:

Perform Coronal Polish and Sealants (applicable to licensed RDAs). Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (accredited DA program completion preferred). Current certifications in CPR, X-Ray, Pit & Fissure, Dental Practice Act, and Coronal Polish (or willingness to sign a compliance agreement to obtain these within 6 months of hire). No restrictions regarding X-Ray capture or Nitrous Oxide delivery. Documented Hepatitis B vaccination. Strong multitasking skills, high energy, and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure.

Ability to meet physical demands:

bending, reaching, extended standing/sitting, fine motor skills, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Bilingual in Spanish is a strong asset.

Pay:

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
