The ideal candidate will be honest, hardworking, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves supporting the dental team with clinical procedures, patient management, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure the highest standards of healthcare infection prevention and control. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering efficient, comfortable, and professional dental services. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental equipment and ensuring all tools are properly maintained according to infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental x-rays accurately while adhering to safety standards and infection prevention procedures. Manage patient care by providing excellent customer service, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Utilize patient management software for scheduling, record keeping, and documentation of treatment details. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control standards. Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. Stay informed about dental terminology, equipment, and sterilization procedures to provide optimal support during patient care. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting is essential. Knowledge of dental x-ray procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management. Understanding of dental terminology, equipment, and clinical workflows. Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and professionalism. Experience using patient management software for scheduling and record keeping. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently alongside the dentist. Commitment to maintaining high standards of healthcare infection prevention and control.
