Overview:
The role is to assist the Kids' Dentistry Operations Manager in achieving the financial performance and revenue growth strategy for their location(s). The Kids' Dentistry Assistant Manager needs to work with their KD Operations Manager to understand and leverage our knowledge of dental services in their local market, support in ensuring the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) to gain Patients for Life (PFL). The Kids' Dentistry Assistant Manager, in the absence of the KD Operations Manager, provides the leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success. This role is a supervisor to front office team members. The Kids' Dentistry Assistant Manager supports and drives PDS's mission and culture for their location(s). Responsibilities Acts as manager of supported practice in KD Operations Manager's absence Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties Work with staff to help develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning Driving year over year revenue and profit growth Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols Provides feedback regarding specific tactics that change financial and patient outcomes such that the rest of the organization can benefit Provide effective leadership, coaching and mentoring to identify and implement opportunities for improvement Ensure office is following PDS standards in respect to facility cleanliness and maintenance Lead and participate in daily huddles and all other meetings as required Implements company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the "We Believes" Demonstrates stewardship of the PDS Brand making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework Executes PDS' processes, systems, and tools, while actively contributing to their improvement Implements the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process in efforts to gain Patients for Life (PFL) Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; addresses others professionally and respectfully Ensures Compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields or dentistry, insurance, or business Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Results Oriented (Energetic self-starter; sets realistic goals; meets commitments; persistent, prioritizes daily to achieve results) Effective Team Builder (Character/Integrity; communicates openly; willingness to confront; motivator/inspirer; educator/trainer, promotes learning; effective assessor of talent; consistent) Customer Service Advocate (flexible and adaptive; empathetic; passionate; ethical) Process Focused Operator (data driven decision-maker; detailed; organized and structured; comprehensive knowledge of all operational processes; computer proficient) Financial Acumen (understands profit drivers; utilizes metrics to manage; builds the financial understanding of staff and clinicians; understands local market drivers and competition) Influencer (active listener/observer of behavior; builds trust with those requiring coaching; creates a win/win need for change; tailors coaching style to the individual's needs; recognizes and celebrates improvement to sustain change). Salary Information:
$28.00-$34.00 / Hourly
