Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare patients for treatments by taking vital signs and ensuring their comfort. Maintain an aseptic environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Perform dental radiography and assist with medical imaging as needed. Utilize dental software systems such as Open Dental for patient management Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. According to skill set, complete tasks such as placing direct restorations, taking impressions, making temporary crowns, etc. Qualifications Some experience in dental assisting is required. Those with high levels of experience will be compensated very competitively.
