This EDDA will have the unique opportunity to help shape our privately-owned practice in our eighth year of business. This is a full time position, 5 days a week. Mountain Ridge Dentistry is a privately-owned general dentistry practice. We operate a little differently than most practices as we are obsessed with excellent, conservative patient care in a happy, kind, and positive team-oriented environment. We are opposed to upselling, quotas, & unethical aggressive treatment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain sterilize dental instruments, supplies, and equipment Patient escort and dismissal Operatory disinfection and maintenance Collect and record patient health histories Instrument transfer and dental material preparation Treatment field isolation Dental treatment charting Recognize and respond to basic dental medical emergencies Stone model fabrication and trimming Phone in prescriptions at dentist direction Record and monitor patient vital signs Monitor Nitrous Oxide administration Demonstrate knowledge of and operate within OSHA and HIPAA standards Post-operative patient instruction Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience EDDA, CPR, and X-Ray Certification Motivated to create positive and meaningful relationships with team members and patients Achieve physical demands: standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, and lift/move up to 15 pounds Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Positive, upbeat, and ambitious personalities will find exceptional success and growth here
