Job Description

Dental Assistant/ Expanded Duties Dental Assistant - 2 Days/Week till 1/1/27 then 3-4 days a week after Our dental practice is seeking a reliable, motivated, and patient-focused Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team! We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a positive, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
2 days per week till 1/1/2027 and then 3-4 days a week after(consistent schedule with long weekends!) Responsibilities include: Assisting the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures Performing expanded duties as allowed by state regulations (fillings, temporary crowns, impressions, etc.) Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection control protocols Preparing and breaking down operatories Ensuring patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Reviewing treatment plans and post-op instructions with patients Managing clinical supplies and inventory Maintaining accurate patient records and charting
Qualifications:
EDDA certification (Preferred) DA experience minimum 2yrs (required) Current X-ray certification CPR certification preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
