Job Summary:

Our dental specialty office is looking for a kind and caring individual to be a trained staff member working as a clinical assistant. The position is a forty hour work week with a four day work week. Our office is a professional environment with the emphasis on the care of each patient. Dental experience is a plus with a customer service also being and important aspect of the individual's past work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records

Experience:

• Experience with Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record systems
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
• Previous experience assisting in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Familiarity with medical terminology
