Job Description
Job Summary:
Our dental specialty office is looking for a kind and caring individual to be a trained staff member working as a clinical assistant. The position is a forty hour work week with a four day work week. Our office is a professional environment with the emphasis on the care of each patient. Dental experience is a plus with a customer service also being and important aspect of the individual's past work experience.Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Previous experience assisting in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology
