Position Summary Wild For A Smile is seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with parents, and thrives in a fast-paced, positive environment. We are looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to safety standards Assist the dentist during exams and procedures Take and process dental X-rays Help children feel calm and comfortable during appointments Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and charting Manage inventory and organize dental supplies Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines Support front office duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant certification CPR certification preferred Experience working in pediatric dentistry preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, patient, and dependable Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Experience with digital X-rays and dental software Knowledge of pediatric behavior management techniques Bilingual skills are a plus Schedule Full-time Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health insurance options Retirement plan options Continuing education opportunities Uniform supplied Why Join Our Team?
