Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatment. Responsibilities:

• Assist receptionist, Prosthodontist, and assistants during patient encounters, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
• Prepare patients for treatment, including explaining procedures and providing patient education.
• Take X-rays and use medical imaging technology to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist with prosthodontic dentistry, including working with elderly and providing patient comfort measures.
• Familiarize yourself with medical terminology and use it to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Support the use of advanced dental technology, including 3D scanners and four-handed dentistry.
• Assist with reception procedures, including scheduling, insurance verification and claim entry.
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient care, including providing support and reassurance during treatment.

Requirements:

• Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in Prosthodontic dentistry or a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with dental technology, including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other Laboratory equipment.
• Dynamic; ability to think outside the box and willingness to change course on a moments notice.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to make high quality impressions and do excellent dental lab work.
