We are looking for an experienced clinical dental leader who is passionate about supporting both patients and team members while ensuring operational excellence. Position Summary The Dental Clinical Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This role serves as a working leader who supports the clinical team, maintains compliance, coaches employees, and partners closely with providers and management to ensure efficient office operations. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant who is ready to grow into a leadership role. Responsibilities Lead and model a Patient First culture. Supervise and support the daily activities of the clinical team. Coordinate patient flow to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times. Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance. Coach, mentor, and train new clinical team members. Conduct regular team huddles and staff meetings. Partner with office leadership to address performance, workflow, and staffing needs. Assist with performance improvement, corrective actions, and employee development. Ensure patient charts are completed accurately, signed, and audited. Maintain compliance with OSHA, infection control, and company policies. Oversee X-ray badge monitoring and radiation safety requirements. Manage inventory and clinical supply ordering, including nitrous oxide. Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs. Ensure proper disposal of sharps and oversee spore testing. Respond appropriately to patient incidents and emergencies. Serve as the communication liaison between providers and leadership. Step into clinical functions as needed to support patient care. QualificationsRequired Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical leadership, supervisory, lead, or similar role within a dental practice. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (DA) or Orthodontic Assistant (OA/OS) . Current DANB Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) Certification + ICE required. Strong understanding of OSHA, infection control, and dental compliance standards. Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience working in pediatric dentistry, general or ortho. Experience with OPEN DENTAL or similar dental practice management software. Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
