Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this energetic position, you will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentists during various treatments by handing instruments, managing suction, and maintaining a clear field of operation through four-handed dentistry techniques. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation for patients requiring medical history updates or special care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and explain procedures using clear dental terminology. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive medical documentation and ensuring infection control standards are met consistently. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental equipment and sterilization procedures. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical procedures including X-ray techniques and oral surgery assistance. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with children is a plus. Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining infection prevention standards. Excellent communication skills to support patient care and collaborate effectively with the dental team. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in healthcare infection prevention and control is desirable.
