About Us Meriden Family Dental is a modern, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures. Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures. Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos. Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. Qualifications Dental Assistant experience preferred. Current Dental Assistant certification (if required by Connecticut). X-ray certification required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
