Norwalk Dental Group opens its doors in South Norwalk this October. We're a privately owned, doctor-led practice, not a corporate DSO , which means the people you work with every day are the people making the decisions. We're building the team that sets the culture from day one, and we want an experienced dental assistant who wants a say in how the practice runs. We have general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and oral surgery doctors under one roof, but you won't be expected to assist in all of them. Tell us where you're strongest and most comfortable, whether that's general, surgery and implants, or ortho, and we'll build your role around it. Want to branch into other areas later? That's your call, never a requirement. What you can expect A role built around the procedures you prefer A well-staffed schedule, so you're not running between rooms all day Pay that reflects your experience and the work you do A brand-new office with new equipment and a cloud-based digital workflow What you'll do Assist chairside with four-handed dentistry in your chosen area: general/restorative, cosmetic, surgical/implant, or orthodontic Set up and break down operatories and keep them stocked Take digital radiographs [and intraoral scans / CBCT] Follow CDC infection control and sterilization protocols Seat patients, review medical history, and give post-op instructions What we're looking for Chairside dental assisting experience needed but not required DANB Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) and Infection Control (ICE) certification, as required in Connecticut CPR/BLS certification Reliable, punctual, and calm with nervous patients Team player who likes a clean, organized op Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. We serve our community in both languages.
