We are seeking a Dental Assistant who will perform the following duties necessary for assisting the dentist in the direct provision of dental care and for the daily efficient operation of the dental clinic.

Expected Schedule:

Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists dentists with all dental procedures utilizing four-handed dentistry Exposes digital radiographs, scans for digital impressions, and pours models per generally accepted practice and department standards. Performs sterilization and disinfection procedures per OSHA standards Tracks lab work sent and received Maintains supply stock in operatories Launders staff scrub jackets Returns patient phone calls, phones in prescriptions, and schedules patient appointments with the Dental Director's approval Participates in staff meetings, in-service education, seminars, and continuing education Treats co-workers, clients and visitors respectfully, courteously and professionally, addressing conflict and disagreement in a positive and respectful manner. Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team Assists with other related routine operational duties as needed or assigned by the Dental Operations Supervisor Why UCFS?
