State-of-the-art Privately owned dental practice in Ridgefield, CT seeking a full time
EXPERIENCED
dental assistant. We offer a team-oriented work environment. He or she should be enthusiastic about giving great dental care, punctual and most importantly, motivated to provide the best patient experience possible. Dental Assistant Duties Include (but are not limited to): 2 years of Dental assisting required Chair side assisting to the doctor (4 handed dentistry) Explaining treatment plans given by doctor Triage all patients including reviewing medical history Setting up and breaking down operatories Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies and materials inside treatment rooms for examination and dental procedures Ordering dental supplies and keeping organized ordering systems Taking digital and panoramic X-rays (x ray certification a MUST ) Sending/receiving lab cases Stocking operatories and lab. Must be a people person and familiar with aspects of dentistry and assisting duties. Dentrix/Dexis experience preferred but not required Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met Paid time off, Bonuses, 401K, profit sharing, health insurance and Employee dental discount plan.
