Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our awesome dental practice. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are stocked. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Utilize 3D scanners for impressions and assist in prosthodontic procedures when required. Manage patient records and ensure proper infection control measures are followed at all times. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental terminology. DANB Certification Knowledge of infection control protocols and medical documentation standards is essential. Experience using 3D scanners is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed. A commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations.
Pay:
