•Wilton, CT Wilton Dental Care is looking for a friendly, dependable, motivated Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a busy, established, family-oriented dental practice that takes pride in providing excellent patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, reliable, and willing to take initiative . Our office is paperless, so strong computer skills are important. Dentrix experience is a plus , but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

Assist the doctor with general and restorative dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and properly set up for scheduled procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols Take dental X-rays as permitted Assist with impressions, scans, Invisalign, crowns, bridges, and other procedures Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories Review the daily schedule and prepare in advance for upcoming procedures Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the computer Communicate effectively with the doctor, hygienists, and front desk Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently and on time Assist with laboratory cases and ensure cases are ready for upcoming appointments Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols Help other team members when needed

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and punctual Has a positive attitude Works well as part of a team Is organized and able to multitask Takes initiative without needing constant direction Has excellent communication and patient-care skills Is comfortable working in a busy dental office Is willing to learn and grow with the practice Has dental assisting experience preferred Has Dentrix experience preferred

Full-Time Benefits:

Health insurance

•office pays 50% of the employee's premium 3 weeks of vacation/sick time after 90 days Free dental care for the employee and immediate family (lab fees are not included) Discounted dental treatment for immediate family when applicable Annual scrub allowance Aflac available (employee-paid) Our practice operates approximately 201-220 days per year , allowing our team to enjoy a great balance between a full-time career and time outside of the office.

Saturday:

Approximately one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM
