Job Description

Full Time Dental Assistant for a well-established private practice in Windsor CT. Join our friendly, patient centered progressive (strong commitment to CE and advanced technology), complete health team practice. For more than four decades, our team members have offered unparalleled dentistry for patients in our community. Our long-term staff is dedicated to getting to know our patients and we strive to build relationships based on trust, compassion, integrity and respect for everyone we treat. We are a large private practice with three (3) dentists, one (1) periodontists and six (6) hygienists. Our days are fast-paced, and you must be able to multitask, be extremely organized and strive to work well with an A+ established assisting team. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch observed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Full-time employees typically work four days per week; a five-day schedule may be available Assist the dentist with procedures including and not limited to RCT, fillings, crown and bridge. X-ray certified is a plus, can sterilize treatment rooms and instruments, communicate patient care needs to other team members, coordinate lab cases, maintain and order dental supplies.
  • Prepare setups for dental procedures
  • Previous experience at a dental or medical office is preferred.
  • Assisted with a periodontist a plus.
  • Front office experience is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
