In this vital role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate advanced medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, updating medical records, verifying vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while documenting medical records accurately using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Support infection control practices by adhering to aseptic techniques and dental sterilization procedures in line with healthcare infection prevention standards Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient experience Requirements Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting procedures Proficiency with EMR systems - Eaglesoft preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding practices Familiarity with dental equipment including X-ray machines, sterilizers, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Knowledge of infection prevention management and aseptic techniques aligned with healthcare standards Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care and communication skills Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery or endodontics is preferred Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while adhering to HIPAA regulations Join us in delivering top-tier dental care with energy and enthusiasm!
