Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team and support our doctors in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate is confident, experienced in restorative procedures, proficient in chairside assisting, and patient management within a fast-paced clinical environment. Duties Assist with restorative procedures and other dental treatments. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for scheduled procedures. Take dental radiographs, photos and CBCT imaging as needed. Provide patients with pre and post operative instructions and reinforce treatment recommendations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient records are complete and up to date. Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and operatory safety protocols while ensuring rooms are properly prepared between patients. Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection prevention management protocols and dental sterilization procedures. Monitor vital signs and medical documentation as needed, especially for patients undergoing surgical procedures or with complex medical histories. Coordinate with the dental reception team to schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure seamless communication across clinical and administrative staff. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant specializing in periodontal procedures within a busy dental clinic setting. Proficiency in chairside assisting techniques for restorative treatment, and other procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental imaging technologies such as 3D scanners. Familiarity with proper and accurate documentation and scheduling management. Expertise in infection prevention management, sterilization protocols, and healthcare infection control standards. Ability to interpret dental X-ray images accurately while adhering to radiation safety guidelines. Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including hygienists and specialists. Commitment to maintaining clinical confidentiality policies while providing compassionate patient care in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
