American Dental Care-located in Dover, DE is seeking Dental Assistant with the right blend of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities for the Dental Assistant include: Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures. Taking Digital x-rays; lab work Greets and prepares patients for treatment Records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient Records treatment information in patient records. Conducts work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guidelines. Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service Must have experience with digital x-rays. Fabricating and seating temporary crowns, and a history in all aspects of general dentistry including endodontic, oral surgery, crown, bridge, dentures Requirements for the Dental Assistant include : Assists with other duties as needed A positive attitude is a must At least one year of experience is required X Ray License Eaglesoft experience also a plus, but not required Business writing/editing skills Case presentation and Computer Skills Required Able to multi-task Full time position with Benefits Paid Holidays Paid Vacation 401k plan
