Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable individual to join our growing team! We currently have openings for Dental Assistant team members. We are a busy, fast-paced dental office committed to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment. We are looking for candidates who are: Friendly, professional, and great with patients Reliable and team-oriented Able to work well in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn and take on different responsibilities Experienced in dental is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Spanish-speaking is a big plus! Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for scheduled procedures Perform dental x-rays accurately and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols Execute sterilization procedures for dental instruments and equipment in compliance with healthcare infection prevention standards Maintain and operate dental equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and supporting patient comfort throughout visits Implement infection prevention management strategies to minimize risks of cross-contamination Ensure adherence to healthcare infection prevention and control protocols at all times Manage inventory of dental supplies and maintain organized clinical areas Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is required Proficiency in taking dental x-rays is essential Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control practices within a healthcare environment is necessary Familiarity with dental equipment operation and maintenance is preferred Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are important for success in this role We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, paid vacation for eligible employees, medical reimbursement plan, 401(k) retirement plan, Opportunities to learn and grow within our practice.
