Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. The Dental Assistant will assist with various clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice. MUST have at least 5 years Dental Assisting Experience Duties Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support with instruments and patient management. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions, applying sealants, and assisting with prosthodontics. Manage patient records and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Qualifications Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential. Experience in general dentistry practices is preferred, including familiarity with Eaglesoft software. Previous experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Proficiency in medical documentation practices related to dental care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on patient interaction. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
