Your Role As a Clinical Dental Assistant , you'll be an essential part of the patient care experience. You'll work closely with providers to prepare for procedures, assist chairside, support safe clinical operations, and help ensure each patient moves smoothly through their visit. What You'll Be Responsible For Procedure Support Assist providers during routine and surgical tooth extraction procedures Prepare operatories, instruments, supplies, and patients before scheduled procedures Provide chairside assistance throughout treatment Take and process digital dental radiographs Review post-treatment and recovery instructions with patients before discharge Help ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit Clinical Readiness & Safety Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment areas between patients Sterilize instruments according to established procedures Follow OSHA, infection control, and clinical safety requirements Keep operatories organized, stocked, and ready for upcoming appointments Assist with supply organization and inventory needs Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and clinical documentation Daily Team Support Help maintain efficient patient flow during busy clinic hours Work collaboratively with dentists and other clinical team members Communicate effectively regarding patient needs and operational priorities Assist with additional clinical duties based on office needs Contribute to a professional, welcoming, and patient-focused environment Qualifications Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required At least 1 year of professional work experience as a Dental Assistant required Experience completed exclusively through an externship, internship, or school-based clinical training does not meet the minimum experience requirement Previous experience assisting with tooth extractions, oral surgery, or surgical dental procedures is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Schedule Part-time position Daytime shifts, including approximately 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Evening availability required Saturday availability preferred Hours may vary based on clinic scheduling and business needs Why Join Just Pull It Dental?
