Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, punctual, team player Open Dental experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Proficiency in dental assisting terminology and procedures Essential Functions Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures Perform expanded functions including restorative procedures, coronal polishing, and sealant placement Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient visits Provide chairside assistance and support to the dental team Take and develop dental radiographs Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care Licensing & Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Florida Board-Approved Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification (Required) Florida Dental Radiographer Certification (Required)
