Job Description
Our private practice is looking for a friendly and empathetic Expanded Function Dental Assistant. We are looking for a very strong candidate who loves dentistry and wants to develop relationships with our patients. At our office we focus on the patient's experience and comfort, rather than high pressure sales. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter that likes to learn, is dependable, and enjoy working in a supportive team environment. Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience is required and salary dependent upon experience.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5 pm. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments efficiently. Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to ensure accurate patient care. Perform tasks related to prosthodontics and endodontics, adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Present treatment plans and educate patients on their dental needs and get them scheduled at a time that works best for them. Scheduling the appointments you have recommended to patients as well as posting payments. Requirements Must be proficient with dental software Able to present treatment plans and collect payment Dependable and on time Team player Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience Strong communication skills Expanded Functions certificate X-ray certificateJob Type:
