The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others in a clinical environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays and ensure images are of high quality for diagnostic purposes Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently as a dental receptionist when needed. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques. Experience Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills: Proficiency in using dental equipment, including X-Ray machines and 3D scanners. Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to various procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is advantageous. A background in assisting within a dental setting is preferred.
