Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , offering a healthy work-life balance with long weekends. This is a great opportunity to be part of a caring team that values professionalism, patient comfort, and quality dentistry.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Provide excellent chairside support and patient care Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Manage patient charts and records Maintain supply inventory and order as needed
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program 2 years of experience minimum Current CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods Proficiency in taking dental X-rays (Radiology Certification may be required depending on state) Familiarity with infection control and
OSHA/HIPAA
compliance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and with patients of all ages Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional demeanor Computer literacy and experience with dental software (preferred)
