Dental Assistant —
Fruitland Park Dentistry Location:
Fruitland Park, FL (near Lady Lake and The Villages)
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday — 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. No evenings or weekends.
Pay:
$22-$24/hour, based on experience We're a small, privately owned practice looking for a Dental Assistant three days a week. Our focus is restorative dentistry — crowns and bridges, fillings, root canals, dentures and partials . Most of our patients are longtime retirees who appreciate an unhurried appointment and a familiar face. We're a tight team, so you'll be a real part of how this office runs. What You'll Do Assist chairside through restorative procedures Set up and turn over operatories Take digital X-rays, impressions, and scans Handle sterilization and infection control (OSHA/CDC), including autoclave logs Keep charting accurate and currentWalk patients through aftercare Track supplies and help with routine equipment upkeep What You'll Need Florida Dental Radiography Certification (or able to complete it soon after hire) Current BLS/CPR certification Solid infection control knowledge A warm, patient manner with older adults N ice to have: 2+ years chair-side experience, CDA, EFDA training, or familiarity with Dentrix.
