Role:
Economy Dentistry for Children is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our established and growing pediatric dental team on Dunn Avenue in Jacksonville, FL. This position is perfect for someone with prior pediatric experience who enjoys working with kids and providing excellent care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist our pediatric dentist with a variety of procedures including exams, restorations, and preventive treatments Capture high-quality dental x-rays Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment rooms according to infection control and safety standards Record patient information accurately and assist with clinical documentation Maintain a positive, calming, and child-friendly chairside presence Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, parents, and team membersQualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years pediatric dental assisting experience (required) X-ray Certification (required) EFDA certification (preferred) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working with children of all ages Must be available to work Monday-Thursday, 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM We are a Equal Opportunity Employer.
