Job Description

Join Our Growing Private Practice Team We are seeking a skilled, motivated Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our team. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms for patient care Sterilize and disinfect instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Take and develop dental radiographs Complete accurate dental charting and maintain detailed records Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Schedule appointments and manage patient records using Dentrix Support front desk/reception duties as needed Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant Surgical assisting experience preferred Proficiency with Dentrix software Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques Understanding of dental anatomy and oral health terminology Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with patient assessments Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and radiographic equipment Experience with aseptic technique and strict infection control protocols Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate.
