The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every patient. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and clinical procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Review and update patient medical and dental histories Take and document patient information as directed Provide patients with education and instructions regarding oral hygiene Take x-rays etc. Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and OSHA procedures Maintain and prepare dental instruments and equipment Assist with room turnover and daily clinical duties Communicate professionally and courteously with patients and team members Support the dental team with other clinical duties as needed. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Excellent attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and organized Commitment to patient safety and quality care Current certifications or credentials required by state regulations (x-ray/expanded duties)
