The ideal candidate will possess a Strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, patient care, and clinical procedures. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient clinic operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional and supportive environment committed to excellence in dental care. Familiar with Oral Sedation and IV Sedation is desired Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards. Take X-ray 's and operate advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as PBS while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments, managing patient flow, and supporting procedures with precision and efficiency. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary and assist in medical documentation related to patient health history and treatment plans. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective infection control practices and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Serve as a dental receptionist when needed by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient communications to enhance the overall patient experience. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in Endodontic procedures. Proficiency with PBS Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Experience supporting pediatric dentistry cases Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards; familiarity with medical imaging technology including 3D scanners is desirable. Excellent communication skills combined with a professional attitude; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting four-handed dentistry practices Additional duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and endodontic procedures.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Hours
  • 7:15am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. 6:45am-4pm Friday.
