Job Description

Family Dental Arts of Florida is seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to become part of our patient-centered team in Margate. We are a growing private practice focused on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting while providing excellent support to both patients and the doctor. What You'll Do Set up and prepare operatories for daily procedures Assist the doctor chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and capture high-quality digital X-rays Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with OSHA standards Accurately chart treatments and update patient records Utilize Open Dental software for clinical documentation and scheduling Provide patients with clear pre-op and post-op instructions Support front and back office workflow as needed What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience Familiarity with dental procedures, materials, and instruments Experience with Open Dental is a plus Strong communication skills and a positive attitude with patients Ability to stay organized and multitask efficiently Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Schedule Monday -
Thursday:
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Alternating Saturdays Compensation & Perks Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $24 , based on experience Employee dental benefits Consistent, stable schedule Supportive and team-driven work environment
