Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Two years minimum experience as dental assistant needed. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced yet high end environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use. Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using Dentrix or similar software. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Support the team with prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures as needed. Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required. Qualifications Experience or knowledge in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and related fields is preferred. Familiarity with Open Dental software for managing patient records is advantageous. Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Certification in radiography for taking X-rays is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
