Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an
EXPERIENCED
Lead Dental Assistant who is confident, efficient, organized, flexible, and able to work independently. Our practice focuses primarily on general dentistry, including cleanings, fillings, crowns, veneers, extractions, root canals, and a high volume of new-patient exams. Clinical Skills Required High-quality dental X-rays, especially FMX Intraoral scanning with TRIOS and/or iTero Temporary crowns and bridges Clear aligner/Invisalign procedures, including attachment placement Intraoral and extraoral photography Chairside assisting for fillings, crowns, veneers, extractions, and root canals Coronal polishing Sterilization and infection control Operatory setup and turnover Restocking clinical areas Monitoring supplies and inventory Keeping the clinical area clean, organized, and ready for patients Pediatric Patients Pediatric patients make up only a small portion of our practice. You must still be comfortable working with children and taking pediatric X-rays when needed.
Current Schedule Alternating weeks:
Monday-Thursday /
Tuesday-Friday Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
9:00 AM-3:00
PM Tuesday, Thursday:
9:00 AM-6:00 PM 2 Saturdays per month: typically 10:00 AM-3:00 PM We are open Saturday and Sunday on call for urgent/emergency patient needs This is our current schedule . Hours and days may change during season based on patient demand, so applicants must have flexibility and availability to work different hours when needed. We are looking for someone who: Anticipates what the doctor needs Notices what needs to be done Takes initiative Works efficiently without constant direction Keeps the clinical side organized Is dependable and comfortable taking responsibility This is not an entry-level position. Strong clinical skills and prior dental assisting experience are required. We offer competitive compensation based on demonstrated clinical skills, experience, efficiency, flexibility, independence, and overall ability to perform the role. Compensation is not limited to hourly pay. We also offer a performance-based bonus system . This position may be filled by 1 Full-Time candidate or multiple Part-Time candidates, depending on experience, availability, and overall fit.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
