Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this critical role, you will support dentists and patients by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth flow of patient services. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their dental experience. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, implant, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all clinical protocols are followed Take and process dental X-rays and 3D scans while maintaining strict adherence to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety guidelines Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy policies Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and compassion Operate dental equipment such as intraoral cameras, digital X-ray machines, and patient management software to streamline workflow Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Participate in training opportunities provided for the team Additional Responsibilities as needed by the office. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as MacPractice for accurate record-keeping and appointment management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry Experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic technique compliance Ability to operate dental x-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety standards Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise to maintain a sterile environment Excellent patient management skills with the ability to communicate clearly about treatments and procedures Knowledge of medical terminology for accurate documentation and effective communication within the healthcare team Competency with Phlebotomy is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference! Pay:
$22.00 - $30.02 per hour
