What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a minimum of 1+ years clinical experience as a dental assistant Friendly, dependable, and adaptable , bringing good energy to the office each day Proactive and organized , anticipating the doctor's needs and keeping the operatory running smoothly Dependable , you're someone we can count on to show up consistently for the patients and the team. Detail-oriented , maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care A clear communicator , able to connect respectfully with patients and team members Calm under pressure and always willing to lend a hand Eager to learn , with a positive, can-do attitude
Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming, soothing and customer service focused experience for patients. Prepare patients for treatment or checkups, ensuring their comfort. Take diagnostic x-rays using standard dental radiographic equipment. Assist the Dentist with a high level of partnership through four handed dentistry. Arrive prepared for each day and review patient charts for morning huddle. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures when needed. Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient's chart. Manage lab cases and schedule patients as needed. Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
