This energetic role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a vital member of our team, you will support clinical procedures, ensure smooth clinic operations, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their treatment journey. Duties Assist the dentist during periodontal procedures, including scaling, root planing, and oral surgery, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Support dental reception duties by managing patient flow, and handling medical documentation with professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Curve for efficient patient management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry to support diverse treatment needs. Experience with dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, dental sterilizers, and other clinical tools. Skilled in chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care and procedural flow. Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control practices including aseptic technique and medical documentation standards. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
