Job Description
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our amazing team. We are a private practice that have been serving our patients in downtown Orlando and surrounding communities for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on excellency in care and service. This position is for a full-time position with clinical hours Monday-Thursday. -Daily tasks will include ensuring the clinical floor is operating smoothly for overall team and patient experience assisting team taking proper x-rays, photos, digital scanning, perform teeth whitening, assist with procedures, sterilize equipment, set up rooms, check/update lab cases.

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Full time position in a private practice setting. Florida EFDA license & x-ray certification required. Full-time Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination and treatment Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentist with appropriate dental procedures for various diseases Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills Proven experience as Dental Assistant or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication and computer skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the jobBenefit Conditions:
