How you'll contribute Assist during procedures with chairside support and four-handed dentistry to help keep kids comfortable Cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants Take X-rays using digital imaging systems (Dexis) Record accurate medical and dental histories using Dentrix software Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology. Manage appointment scheduling Support infection control procedures Skills & Experience Expanded functions certificate Proven experience in dental assisting within a pediatric or general dentistry setting with knowledge of dental terminology, infection control standards, and anatomy relevant to pediatrics. Strong communication skills with children (and caregivers); pediatric experience preferred. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented.
