This position requires a minimum of 1 year of recent, hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry practice. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. We are not hiring entry-level or recent graduates for this position. We are a privately owned, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who can confidently work with restorative and crown and bridge procedures. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position with a reliable, team-oriented office. Required Experience (Must Have) Minimum 1 year of recent Dental Assistant experience in general dentistry. Experience assisting with restorative, crown and bridge procedures . Experience with packing cord . Experience seating temporary and permanent crowns . Experience taking digital radiographs (digital X-rays). Experience with Eaglesoft or comparable dental practice management software is preferred. Strong understanding of OSHA and HIPAA protocols. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative and crown and bridge procedures. Pack cord and assist with crown deliveries. Take high-quality digital radiographs. Take intraoral digital scans ( Primescan or similar scanner) for crowns and other restorative procedures. Communicate with dental laboratories, prepare lab cases, and track incoming and outgoing cases. Monitor and order dental supplies and materials to maintain adequate inventory. Set up and break down operatories. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards. Maintain accurate patient records. Present treatment plans and supporting documentation for the dentist's review and patient presentation. Help maintain efficient patient flow while delivering excellent patient care.

Additional responsibilities:

Prepare and organize all pre-appointment clinical documentation, including charting, treatment plans for the dentist's review, referral letters, and patient records, to support efficient patient care.
