Certification Organizational skills Full Job Description Dental Assistant Drift Dental | Stuart, FL Full-Time Drift Dental is a new dental practice in Stuart focused on making patients feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. We're looking for a dependable, personable dental assistant who enjoys working with a team and takes pride in the details that make a visit run smoothly. We're looking for someone who is proactive, open to learning, and excited to grow with the office as we build our team and clinical workflows. Responsibilities Assist the dentist with restorative, surgical, cosmetic, and general dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans, as permitted by your training and certifications Explain post-operative instructions and help patients feel at ease Maintain accurate clinical notes Follow sterilization, infection-control, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols Monitor supplies and keep clinical spaces organized Support other team members when needed Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Florida dental radiography and expanded-functions training or certification preferred CPR/BLS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it after hire Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with a new practice Experience with Open Dental, digital scanning, or implant procedures is a plus Spanish-speaking is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Two weeks of paid time off Paid holidays Employee dental benefits Training and opportunities for professional growth Supportive, team-oriented work environment Modern technology and a newly built office Please submit your résumé to apply.
