The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant with at least 2 years of experience or an extraordinary dental assistant wanted to train in Orthodontics . The ideal candidate will be proficient in orthodontic clinical procedures and possess excellent communication skills to guide patients through their treatment journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the doctor in all orthodontic procedures, including bonding, wire changes, and debanding. Take high-quality digital X-rays, photos, and intraoral scans. Prepare and maintain clinical areas, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA and infection control standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care. Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a warm, professional chairside manner.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant (Required), or 5 years as a outstanding General Dentist Assistant.
Skills:
Strong clinical knowledge of orthodontic bracket systems, wires, and clear aligner therapy.
