We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Venice practice. The ideal candidate has 1-3+ years of dental assisting experience , a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments. Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with infection control standards. Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Support the hygiene department as needed. Take dental radiographs (when properly licensed). Obtain and document patient medical histories, blood pressure, and pulse readings. Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment by providing compassionate, attentive care. Accurately enter patient information and treatment notes into the electronic dental charting system. Escort patients to and from treatment rooms and assist with patient flow throughout the day. Assist with front office responsibilities as needed, including greeting, seating, and dismissing patients. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional clinical environment. Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications 1-3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred. Current Florida radiology certification (or ability to obtain, if required). Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
